Acklins
Acklins is an island and district of the Bahamas of which the largest are Crooked Island and Acklins. The main town in the group is Colonel Hill on Crooked Island. The population of Acklins and Crooked Island is about 400. Acklins and Crooked Island are two of the four islands forming an atoll. The Castle Island and Long Cay are the other two islands that forms an atoll. The terrain of Acklins is hilly with unusual rock formations, and also a variety of plant and animal life and its coastline is covered with beautiful beaches. These islands are Quiet and remote and can be a good getaway from the normal city life.
